Frequently Asked Questions
-
Absolutely not. Caledorn is, and will remain, free to join and participate in. You will never be expected to donate to attend events, compete, use our community resources or simply be part of Caledorn. Donations are entirely optional.
-
Caledorn has grown beyond simply maintaining an in-game guild. We are building a wider World of Warcraft community with a website, community tools, tournaments, events, competitions and other projects that come with real running costs. Donations give those who want to support what we're building an entirely optional way to help cover those costs and allow us to do even more.
-
Donations support Caledorn's website, community and tournament tools, events and prizes such as WoW Tokens, game time, Battle.net shop items, Blizzard merchandise and other rewards. They can also support new projects, activities and opportunities as Caledorn continues to grow across World of Warcraft.
-
No. Donations do not influence guild rank, recruitment, team selection, event participation, Council decisions or how you are treated within Caledorn. Someone who never donates is just as much a part of this community as someone who does.
-
Then simply being here is enough. Join events, help other players, welcome new members, share our content, support our creators or just get involved in the community. Caledorn is built by the people who participate in it — financial support is only one completely optional way of helping.
